"Since making the decision to go to Quito, my prayer has been for God to break my heart... Break it, so that I would see others the way God sees them. Break it, so that I can't help but DO something because of the compassion and empathy God has filled the gaps in my heart with for the lost and needy. Break it in such a way that I would be completely dependent on Him... He is already answering my prayer, and in greater ways than I ever imagined. God is working. God is giving me the opportunity to be a part of this trip and has even created opportunities for me to share with my co-workers about this trip before I leave! (For some reason people usually want to know what you are doing when you are leaving work for two weeks) I am excited to to be a part of the work that Extreme Response is doing in Quito and am looking forward to being part of a bigger team working to serve others. Seeing the ways that God is working in other parts of the world is exciting and encouraging and I look forward both to being a part of it and sharing the ways that God is working when we return.
